About the bands:  Wiri Donna: Wiri Donna began as a sensitive indie folk act. Now two years later after multiple tours and supporting heavy hitters such as Fontaines D.C., Skegss, & The Beths she is breaking her stride with a larger and emphatic rock sound. Led by songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Bianca Bailey the now 4 piece band makes for an energetic live show. Including members Harrison Scholes (Arjuna Oakes, F.A.I.R.Y), James MacEwan (Arjuna Oakes), & Elliott Dawson (DOONS). In early 2022 Wiri Donna released her debut EP ‘Being Alone’, a coming of age record that’d been brewing for a few years

Caught Inside:  Still drenched in noise from their inception on Karangahape Rd, Caught Inside’s move to Te Whanganui-a-Tara in 2021 brought a myriad of new exciting possibilities to the band’s sound. Elements of punk and grunge still linger, while a horn line has come to the forefront. Drawing on the likes of Supergroove, Fontaines DC, and Revulva, the new Caught Inside sound seeks to push forward with politicised songs that are still introspective and personal.

ROO: ROO is a 5-piece Te Whanganui-a-Tara based group that explores the conjunction between early 2000s and modern alternative rock, along with blending raw emotion and powerful melodies. Being non-binary led, ROO’s soundscape is one that is always evolving and expanding, unafraid to push the boundaries.

Esbee (solo):  In a departure from big, brassy sound of Esbee, Alex S-B is taking to garret street to experiment with a collection of songs from his catalogue, including raw versions of Esbee tunes as they were written alongside other originals that have never been seen by an audience.
