The Pickens 54 - New Zealand's Longest Midget Race
Come and celebrate the career of perhaps our best ever Speedway racer Michael Pickens.
With over 200 career feature wins, nine National Midget Titles and the current National Sprintcar Champion, this guy is pretty good!
Joining in the celebration is Justin Grant, Taylor Reimer, Ethan Mitchell and Buddy Kofoid from the USA plus over 30 local hot shots.
Kiwi Supercars mega star Shane van Gisbergen will be racing in the United Truck Parts Sprintcar against American Jonathan Allard as well as Jamie McDonald, David Thomas, the Dahm brothers, Dean Cooper and many more.
Free carnival rides for the kids, prize giveaways, great hot food and bar facilities.
