Auckland Live Pick & Mix, Tamaki Makaurau Auckland’s favourite free, whanau-friendly programme is back for 2022 with performances and workshops, packed with creativity, fun and imagination.

This year’s programme features a performance followed by a workshop from one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s premier kapa haka troupes – The Haka Experience!

The Haka Experience! takes you on a cultural journey through waiata ā ringa – Māori legends and history told through song and dance, mystical mōteatea chants, captivating poi work and powerful haka. After the performance, everyone gets to learn from the kapa haka professionals themselves in an exciting fun-filled workshop! Happening during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, Māori Language Week.
