Park Flyers: Park Flyers are a two piece band based in Wellington whose staple sound floats between various emo subgenres. With a focus toward live performance, this duo has been bashing about for a wee while and are locked the frick in.

Dropper: Powerfully crafted indie guitar curated by an exciting and utterly convincing talent from Wellington. In the summer of 2023/24, Wellington indie band Bleeding Star entered the studio to record their final EP, Sympathy. The session was bittersweet, marked by the absence of guitarist Otis Hill, whose battle with cancer had taken a severe toll. Among those behind the boards was River Hann-Ellen of Debt Club, whose collaboration with Bleeding Star’s frontman, Jude Savage, sparked an unexpected creative partnership. What began as a deep appreciation for each other’s songwriting soon blossomed into a full-fledged collaboration. Jude’s raw, emotionally charged style—compared to the likes of Bob Mould’s most vulnerable Hüsker Dü tracks or Lou Barlow's passionate bursts on early Sebadoh records—found the perfect counterpoint in River's talent for intricate arrangements and melodic innovation. Together, they crafted a body of work that would become the foundation for their new project, Dropper. With powerhouse drummer Walter Martin (American Muscle) and the steady hand of long-time friend Flinn Bellam from Debt Club on bass, Dropper was born—a band that blends visceral energy with a musical depth founded on a commitment to the power of beautiful imperfection and carefully considered songcraft. Their sound carries the weight of experience, the fire of shared creativity, and the timeless force of guitar-driven indie rock. Dropper is poised to make waves with its unique blend of noise and melody, continuing the rich tradition of powerful, song-centric indie rock in New Zealand and beyond.
