Fast becoming Tāmaki Makaurau’s favourite downtown comedy event, each month The Tuning Fork gathers up their favourite comedians from throughout Aotearoa, hosting them for one night of raucous live comedy.

With over 20 years of comedy experience under his belt, headlining the event is the hilarious Jeremy Elwood. His TV credits include 7Days, The Project, The Comedy Gala, AotearoHA, After Hours, Funny Roots, A Night at the Classic and even Pulp Comedy back in the day.

Your MC for the night, Pax Assadi, is regarded as one of the most exciting young acts in New Zealand by his peers & audiences alike! Having appeared on number of local television shows including TV One's panel show Word Up, TV 3s 7 Days, Maori TV's Crack-Up, his hectic blend of personal stories and insightful observations will have you pondering life whilst simultaneously curled over with laughter.

Donna Brookbands is the proper business. A founding member of the incredibly successful Snort, and 2018 and 2019 Billy T Award nominee, she's fast becoming an absolute legend in the industry. Described as "a joyous eruption of chaos, energy and laughter", Donna has it all.

Last but certainly not least, Best Newcomer at the 2019 NZ International Comedy Festival Liv McKenzie is one to watch in the NZ comedy scene. With multiple appearances on TV3's 7 Days, TVNZ's Have You Been Paying Attention, and her breakthrough performance on the TV2 Best Foods NZ International Comedy Festival Gala, she's sure to make this an unforgettable night!
