MEET THE ARTISTS
Flaxxies: The Tāmaki Makaurau 5 piece are writing a killer few next chapters. 4 high school BFF’s bond through their obsessive love of music, they wrote & self produced their debut EP 'Dream Days' (2020) allowing the band to develop a foundation to their sound, which has been built upon and diversified through subsequent releases. Most recently, the dropped their latest EP 'Sunstruck', creating a unique fusion of reggae, classic blues, fast and loose rock n roll with dub elements.
Fan Club: A high school indie rock band from Auckland, New Zealand. Emma, Caleb, Tilly and Tom mash-up pop/rock/indie elements into a unique blend of high-energy beats, dynamic structures, sick guitar riffs, and driving, confessional lyrics that explore the highs and (mostly) lows of teenage life. They won the Band award at the Raise-Up’s New Found Sound finals in 2023 at The Tuning Fork. Look out for a new single coming out at the end of October and their debut EP at the start of 2024!
Kliffs: A 5-piece set of high school mates dropping onto the scene with their own surfy tunes. Playing with a wide range of influences, the Auckland crew have a passion for songwriting and combining relatable lyrics with a variety of beats and genres showcasing their own songs as well as performing well-known covers.
