Canterbury fans of legendary artists ABBA, Queen, and Elton John are in for a fABBA-ulous summer’s day of belting out time-honoured tunes with Bjorn Again, The Killer Queen Experience, and Lance Strauss’ Elton Jack. As if that’s not enough, A 70s DJ, and a top NZ covers band will get the seven hour long musical celebration started.

Bearing an uncanny resemblance to the man who created hit after hit, Strauss’ show is endorsed by Elton John himself.
FLASHBACK FESTIVAL is a chance for fans to relive, or perhaps discover for the first time, the magic of these iconic artists at the peak of their careers. In the inspiring setting of North Canterbury's Waipara Winehouse, beloved in the past as “The Mudhouse”, the vineyard events centre changed hands in 2023 with a promise to bring the music back. Earlier this year the team delivered delivered a memorable Six60 Sessions concert to a sold-out crowd in the vines.
