Vivid LIVE Returns To The Sydney Opera House For 2023 With A Huge Program Lined Up

The Sydney Opera House has revealed the full lineup for its centrepiece contemporary music event, Vivid LIVE 2023, taking place from Friday 26 May - Saturday 17 June as part of Vivid Sydney, Australia's largest festival of light, music, ideas and this year, food!

Since 2009, Vivid LIVE, the annual centrepiece of the Opera House's year-round contemporary music program, has celebrated iconic and ambitious artists that defy expectations and break new ground. Curated for the eighth time by the Head of Contemporary Music, Ben Marshall, Vivid LIVE 2023 presents original Australian premieres, one-off projects and unmissable performances from Australian artists, alongside select global acts, emerging voices and Sydney's vibrant local communities who amplify the nation's culture.

Curated for the eighth time by the Opera House's Head of Contemporary Music, Ben Marshall, the Vivid LIVE program will showcase a curated series of Australian premieres, exclusives and bespoke projects celebrating iconic and ambitious artists that defy expectation and break new ground. The 2023 lineup features José González, Yaeji, Cat Power, Devonté Hynes, Max Richter, Ella Mai, Thundercat, Weyes Blood, Jaguar Jonze, Birdz & Fred Leone, Maina Doe, Jen Cloher, Budjerah, Ethel Cain, JACOTÉNE and so many more.
