Words By Laurel:
I have been obsessed with the Flower Fairies since I was a child and got the Cicely Mary Barker book. I found the name for my first album 'dogviolet' in a Flower Fairies book.
Dog Violet Fairy
Obviously because I named my first album this - I love the harsh ugliness of the work dog against the beautiful striking violet.
Forget Me Not Fairy
The poem alongside the Forget Me Not Fairy is just so cute!! And the picture is of a little baby fairy among the forget me nots how could u not love.
The Horse Chestnut Fairy
Had such an amazing chestnut hat that I would love to wear on stage.
Stitchwort Fairy
She is so elegant and whimsical against fields of green!
The Gorse Fairies
The fairies are kissing and I must say I was a v young romantic my 4 year old self was surely swooning.
