New Venue Boogie Mountain Revitalises Live Music In Kings Cross

A new live music space is making its mark on Sydney's Kings Cross with a clear focus on bringing live music back to the once-bustling late-night music hub.
Taking over the hallows of the infamous Kit and Kaboodle, Boogie Mountain is a late-night live music space that's committed to supporting and nurturing live music in Sydney. Since its takeover, the space has already hosted multiple national acts including The Jezabels, The Delta Riggs, Touch Sensitive, and Boo Seeka.
"This area has been void of any meaningful investment in live music for some time now", says venue manager Jarrah Nelson. "We want Kings Cross to be known for its live music, we have put our best foot forward to make sure that we can do live music right."
Boogie Mountain kicks off their internal programming tonight, with a weekly Friday night called Week End Club, offering a platform for the country's best new talents. Their launch event will showcase local legends Party Dozen, Greenwave Beth, e4444e, Year6Disco and VOLUMES DJs. If you're keen to check it out, RSVP HERE.
