Iggy Pop Leads New Bluesfest Sideshow Announcements
Bluesfest has announced yet another string of sideshows, with the likes of punk legend Iggy Pop, singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff and Grammy-winner Fantastic Negrito being added to the bill.
Previously added to the 2019 Bluesfest lineup last month, Iggy Pop will be playing headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney in April, including two shows at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.
Seven-piece soul crew Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will also perform across Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, off the back of their latest album Tearing at the Seams.
American blues and roots hero Fantastic Negrito (Xavier Dphrepaulezz) will perform in Sydney and Melbourne. Meanwhile, South Carolina blues rockers The Marcus King Band will play headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne to mark their Australian debut.
