We are thrilled to announce that Thursdays I’m In Love is back on November 17 at The Tuning Fork! 

This time we have a special twist on our line-up. For the first time in Thursdays I’m In Love history we have a sole headlining act - one of Aotearoa’s fastest rising stars Paige! With special guest the exceptionally talented singer-songwriter alayna.

This event has always been focused on the emerging forces in New Zealand music and for this very special November show we wanted to celebrate and showcase two of the country's fastest rising wāhine artists with their very own show. Meet the artists:

Paige has been going from strength to strength over her short career after making her mark on the Aotearoa music scene with her critically acclaimed EP, Always Growing. She has toured with some of New Zealand’s biggest acts such as Drax Project and Six60 as well as leaving festival goers enthralled with her melodic pop stylings. It’s not just New Zealand audiences that she has wowed — Paige has received shoutouts from international superstars such as Billie Eilish and Lizzo, and picked up millions of Spotify streams while she’s at it. The sky truly is the limit for this immensely talented artist, and we are so excited to be a part of her incredible rise!  

Rotorua born, Tāmaki Makaurau based alayna has been making waves since her 2018 debut EP ‘Sweet Soul’ which featured collaborations from international artists FINNEAS and Astronomyy and amassed over 20 million streams on Spotify alone! Her latest work has seen alayna move further into her songwriting abilities, combining her strong vocals and confronting lyrics with an R&B blend. Alayna is set to reveal her debut album in 2023 where she continues to lean into her self exploration, and vulnerability through her song writing and life experiences that shape her. This talented singer-songwriter has an incredibly bright future ahead of her.
