Event Details


The Seasider

Departing in the afternoon, The Seasider runs between Dunedin and Seacliff. 


Enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean as the train travels north along the Otago Harbour past Port Chalmers and Blueskin Bay.

During the 3 ½ hour trip, you can choose to stop at Waitati to explore what the local community has to offer or you can choose to stop at Arc - the small but popular local brewery (numbers limited).

Alternatively, you can stay onboard for scenic views around Seacliff before the train returns to Dunedin.

Drinks and food are available for purchase from the on-board Café
