The Inlander

Experience our most iconic train journey that transports you into the spectacular Taieri River Gorge.

Departing in the morning, The Inlander runs from Dunedin to Hindon in the Taieri Gorge. This return 3 ½ hour trip is a fascinating scenic journey, that follows part of the historic Otago Central Railway route, constructed during Otago's Gold Rush.
