One-night multi-venue music festival across Cuba St precinct

Eyegum Music Collective presents GREAT SOUNDS GREAT, the one-day multi-venue festival returning to Pōneke's Cuba Street precinct on 31 August 2024. Wellington’s favourite indie festival is back for a third year to showcase some of Aotearoa's best artists performing in six amazing local venues spread around the cultural heart of the city!

The stacked lineup includes the return of hometown pop rock heroes Fur Patrol, local soul-jazz-reggae legends Trinity Roots, propellant kraut-fuelled jams provided by Tāmaki Makaurau’s Half Hexagon, indie darling songwriter Erny Belle (Trio), and award winning alt rap party starter Jujulipps, along with a bunch more amazing acts. For the first time, festival goers will also be treated to a programme featuring three of Aotearoa’s finest poets, including everyone’s favourite purveyor of verse and life advice Hera Lindsay Bird.

Join us for the capital’s best party, a joyous celebration of independent music, poetry, and our incredible local venues!

Early bird tickets sold out. Remaining tickets selling quick…

Ticket holders will receive a wristband that will give them access to each of the participating venues throughout the event. Information on how to pick up wristbands will be provided to ticket holders closer to the time.
