Farewell Spit is a quartet of familiar faces performing unfamiliar music. Inspired by the volatile elements and legends of deep sea adventures, Farewell Spit play slowly evolving, layered epics which are at once calming and devastating.

For this special Jazz Festival concert they are joined by the extraordinary American drummer Pheeroan Aklaff.
