Learn to draw caricatures!

Brent Harpur is a self-taught cartoonist, art educator & entertainer. For 34 years, he has taught cartooning with both children & adults, all over New Zealand, Australia and seven other countries. 

Brent started drawing at the age of five and at eleven he started losing his eyesight. He has been legally blind since his teens, but this has not stopped Brent from passionately pursuing his infectious love for drawing and sharing it with others. 

As an educator, he believes that the international language of art & creativity can bring people closer together, offering an alternative, non-verbal way of communicating and connecting. Whether working with children or adults (and often together), he asserts that cartooning (and the confidence people gain from learning it) can be all-inclusive and hugely instrumental in building stronger relationships and communities.

This workshop is for teens and adults! Inclusive of neuro diverse and those with a disability. All materials are supplied. Just bring your creative self to enjoy learning tips and tricks from Brent.

Cost: $30 per person
NOTE: Support workers attend for free and can join in too.
