About Brenton:

Brenton Thwaites is an Australian actor, musician, and writer. He began his career in 2011 with a starring role in the Australian series Slide, followed by his appearance on the soap opera Home and Away. After moving to the United States, Brenton took on lead roles in films like Oculus, The Giver, Gods of Egypt, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. From 2018 to 2023, he portrayed Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing in the DC Universe series Titans.

During his time in Toronto filming Titans, Brenton recorded his first album with producer Justin Abedin. The songs vary from blues to folk, to singer/songwriter and a touch of country. While most songs are acoustic backed, a few blues tracks bring out the electric and are backed by an incredible band, giving the songs a great energy. Brenton’s lyrics reflect his experiences in Hollywood, life on the road with his family, and the highs and lows that come with it. In ‘What You’re Made Of’, Brenton brings out the electric guitar and loops in Sarah Buckley from ‘The Buckleys’ to join him in a soaring, catchy, fun, blues duet.
