Join us for night celebrating the release of Alba Rose's debut EP titled 'Silhouette'.  

A four-track EP embracing the reflections of Alba past few years of life, expressed through the genres of soul, jazz, contemporary, indie-pop and neo-soul. With playful lyrics to welcome the warmer seasons played out with delicious double bass backbones, adventurous rhythmic dynamics and jazz infused keys and sax, Alba will be joined by her full band consisting of Rory Johns (keys), Elijah Mulheron (double bass), Rafe Swan (drums) and Tyaan Singh (sax).

Te Whanganui-a-Tara local singer-songwriter, Alba Rose, known for her previous involvement in leading indie-pop band Corduroy, in which she toured across NZ playing sold-out shows and supported international artists. Her solo project began in the early part of 2021, with eclectic compositions incorporating soul, jazz, and indie influences. Alba is also a recognisable name amongst the underground liquid drum & bass scene with her single ‘Breathe’ with CSM landing on the top 20 liquid charts. 

Supporting Alba is Poneke Local Len Blake performing live with her band. Len has recently released her debut EP 'Honey Blood’ (9th September) consisting of a 5-track completion of R&B, soul and indie-pop magic. With effortlessly smooth & sweet vocals mixed with chill, shimmery instrumentation and one part groove, together Alba and Len combine to bring the perfectly delicious spring sensation.
